WaAaK Sun

WaAaK Sun is a second generation New Yo Rican and Brooklyn Native with over 20 years of HipHop Cultural representation as a BBoy, Aerosol Artist, Educator and Activist. WaAaK is also founder of The Breaks Kru, a NYC-Based, world renown collective of practitioners maintaining HipHop Culture through education and community enrichment. The Breaks Kru exists to serve by "Preserving BBoy culture" through education, arts and entertainment.



Soo (gyeun Jeong) was born in Seoul, Korea. She started dancing at 5 years old. Soo was dancing freestyle on the street everywhere. Soo found out the  Jazz dance class first when she was 12 and then found out the popping dance style at 14, she trained hard at all types of dance styles such as: Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Popping, Locking etc. Soo started training dance again with her popping dance crew in Seoul; she moved to New York when she was 19 to broaden her dance vocabulary.Soo works professionally and has traveled the world as a Dance instructor, battle competitor, Judges, performer, Organizer, etc.

Christina “CC” Cruz

Christina "CC" Cruz is a Bronx native who holds a BA in Dance from Lehman College. She is currently the Director of Hip Hop Theory: The Company and Program Director of Each 1 Teach One Dance Series; also based out of Lehman College. She is a freelance Teaching Artist, teaching dance in public schools throughout New York City and works in theatres such as Lehman Stages (Usher, Stagehand & House Manager) and TriBeCa Performing Arts Center (Usher). CC has also been a seasonal member of Herbert H. Dance Company (2015, 2018, 2019) and performed in various showcases independently, such as Ladies of Hip-Hop (2015, 2018), Momma’s Hip-Hop Kitchen (2014) and Carnival (2017, 2018); to name a few.

Beata “Bee” Wierzbicka

Beata “Bee” Wierzbicka was born and raised in Poland. In 2013, following her dreams Bee came to New York City to take her passion for dance to the next level. Shortly after she started to work with PMT Dance Studio, and eventually became a PMT Dance Company member. In 2015 she was approved for the "International Student Visa Program" at Broadway Dance Center where she trained for 6 months with the best teachers in NYC. She has performed in various venues, including Alvin Ailey’s Citigroup Theater, The Baryshnikov Arts Center, The John Astin Theatre (Johns Hopkins University), New York Live Arts Theater and Manhattan Movement & Arts Center. She has also performed live on NBC's 'Today Show', at the halftime show for the NY Liberty at Madison Square Garden (2016) and pre-game show for the Brooklyn Nets at Barkley's Center (2017). In February 2017 she became an accredited BEAT Global Instructor after completing 6-months training program in Hip-Hop education methods and cypher-based pedagogy, focusing on Bboy/Bgirl dance instruction.


Tatiana Desardouin

Tatiana Desardouin is a professional dancer, dance instructor, choreographer, and event organizer. Tatiana won several competitions in Switzerland and abroad (Italy, Denmark, Canada, France), had the opportunity to dance in Bercy in Paris for the world finals of Juste Debout in the House category in 2010. She has been a Hip-Hop dance teacher in two Swiss contemporary dance companies, ”L’Estuaire” and “Alias,” and has taught Hip-Hop dance in schools: Studio desBains, and Centre de Formation Professionnelle des Arts Appliquées (CFPAA) for the contemporary dance branch in Geneva from 2005 to 2016. With Loïc Dinga, she opened her own dance school in Geneva, Le Centre Hip-Hop. She is a member of the JAIA association. Tatiana moved to New York in 2016, and teaches Hip-Hop and House at “EXPG New York.” She is also now part of the legendary Rennie Harris PureMovement Dance Company in Philadelphia. She is now building her dance company called “Passion Fruit”, performing at Lehigh Valley dance festival, at Summerstage, at Alvin Ailey for Ladies of Hip-Hop festival 2017, BAAD! Theater for Dance Your Future residency, Jacob's Pillow for the Inside/Out festival and the legendary Apollo Theater for the "Breakin' Convention" festival.


Emily Pietruszka

Emily Pietruszka is a Colorado native who recently relocated to NYC in August of 2017. Emily became involved in the street dance community after becoming a core member of Hip Hop pioneer, Rennie Harris’ Denver based company, Rennie Harris Grassroots Project. Dancing under Harris’s direction has brought her to perform in a multitude of renowned venues and festivals including the 2015, San Fransisco International Hip Hop Dance Festival and the 2017 Denver showcase of Breakin’ Convention. After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2015, Emily has taught in various studio settings, as a full time high school teacher, and as a guest lecturer. She has been lucky enough to have exchanged with students across a wide range of backgrounds and experiences in NYC and Denver, Colorado. Now, Pietruszka continues to dance under the direction of Rennie Harris, and trains alongside NYC based popping artist, Soo Missy Boogaloo. Emily navigates her experiences as a "forever student," and as a teacher, she values the exchange of ideas while striving to create a trusting environment for community to flourish.



Shango aka Jungle is a New York city based dancer who started as a street performer entertaining the daily passer by. He then took his years of collect information and experience to the big stage. Focusing primarily on house and hiphop he properly combines the past and present in his style and dance.
